This is a very smooth and creamy, yet dry, roasted stout. It has the delicate aroma of fresh chocolate and fresh barley. The flavor is well balanced with the subtle fruity characteristics of an Irish Ale yeast fermentation and rich layers of chocolate, coffee, and dry roasted malts.

A well balanced, malt forward nutty brown ale! Munich, biscuit, chocolate and caramel malts are used to create a warm complexity. The complex malt profile finishes slightly dry and mellow.

From farm to glass, this is the local flavor of pure Michigan!! 100% of the grain and hops were grown in Michigan. Michigan grown barley and wheat were malted by our friends at Michigan Malt Company in Shepherd, Michigan to develop the beautifully colored amber body. Expect an underlying sweet, malty base with hints of cotton candy and toasted marshmallow. Mango, orange and piney are just some of the unique signature characteristics of our locally chosen hop varietals, which were grown with care by our friends at Hop Yards of Kent in Greenville, Michigan and reveal West Michigan’s terroir!

This is an unfiltered wheat beer with a blush pink colored body and a creamy white head. 200 lbs. of locally grown strawberries from our neighbors at Krupp Farms were infused for a soft strawberry aroma and refreshing flavor. The creamy texture of wheat compliments the bright and somewhat tart flavor of ripe strawberries. No extracts, syrups or artificial flavors were used to make this beer, only whole hand-picked fresh strawberries a naturally pure flavor! As part of our “Permaculture Series” Erdbier is a seasonally annual beer released during the Michigan Strawberry harvest.

200 lbs. of locally grown West Michigan blueberries were infused in this unfiltered beer. The pilsner malt used has a neutral, yet clean and refreshing profile that provides a great base for a soft blueberry flavor. The natural purple color impact of the blueberries is much greater than the subtle flavor the fruit provides. No extracts, syrups, concentrates or artificial flavors were used to make this beer, only whole fresh blueberries for a naturally pure flavor! As part of our “Permaculture Series” BluPils is released during the Michigan Blueberry harvest.

Plum English Barelywine
The richest and strongest of the English Ales, yet not as hop focused as American versions. Historically English Barelywines were brewed for the winter or holiday season. A showcase of malty richness and complex, intense flavors balanced with higher levels of alcohol warmth. We aged ours with fresh Michigan plums grown by the Meachum family at High Acres Fruit in Hartford, MI, which adds a pleasant, soft fruitiness to the background. No, extracts, concentrates, or artificial flavors were used in this beer, only fresh plums for naturally pure flavor! As part of our “Permaculture Series” Big Jack Horner is seasonally annual beer released during the Michigan Plum harvest.

Experimental Spiced Ale
This fall spiced ale was brewed with over 100lbs of fresh locally grown butternut squash. It has a toasty, rich, and malty body with layered flavors of toffee, caramel and dark fruit. We also used a unique blend of fresh spices to give this specialty a warm, fall personality!

Enjoy it just as it is, or try it with a wedge of lemon for a fresh summer twist! Brewed with Michigan ingredients!! Our friends at Michigan Malt Company in Shepherd, MI have created a variety of malts with Michigan grown barley and wheat to give this brew its golden color and light toasty character. Additionally, our neighbors at Hop Yards of Kent have provided the variety of hops, called Perle. This is a “single-hopped” beer, which means that only Perle hops were used. These hops contribute pleasant floral character to the refreshingly light malt body and clean finish.
- Anniversary AleABV:8.2% IBU:24
Brewed with barley, wheat, rye,oats and Michigan beet sugar! This Belgian specialty has a rich, malty body with layers of molasses, chocolate and dried fruit like raisin, plum and cherry! The Belgian yeast adds a hint of peppery clove to the overall complexity. Served ina snifter to assist with it’s wonderfully complex nose.

A sticky pale ale brewed with Nuggs. Nugget hops that is! Nuggets are usually used only as a bittering addition, however we used them throughout the process for bittering, flavor and aroma. Nugget hops are described as being green, resiny, and herbal. We scored a fresh bag of Nuggets just for this brew!

Vanilla Black Walnut Brown
A malty brown ale layered with undertones of caramel and chocolate. Brewed with local black walnuts for a unique nutty earthiness and just a touch of vanilla to round it out with a mellow finish.

Extra Special Bitter Ale
A stronger approach to an English Bitter in both flavor, and alcohol strength. While ESB’s should maintain a fairly even balance between malt character and hop bitterness, the flavor impact of each is elevated beyond that of an ordinary bitter. Brewed with caramel malt, Willamette hops and European yeast.
